Appeal following road traffic collision on B4245

At approximately 19.07pm on Monday 5th August, officers were called to a report of an injured man, that was found in the area of the B4245, Station Road, Magor. It was reported that a bicycle was in close proximity to the injured man.

He was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital with serious injuries and remains in a critical condition.

Officers are now trying to establish the circumstances of this incident and are requesting that anyone who saw a cyclist, travelling in the direction of Undy, between the Severn Tunnel Junction train station and the B4245, Magor between 18:40pm and 19:10pm to please check any dash cam footage which may provide further information that will assist officers with their enquiries.
