This is an excellent 6 month secondment opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and innovative individual to join a small but influential team of Chief Officers, committed to driving through change. You will have a positive approach to delivering high levels of performance as well a strong track record in operational policing.

Hours: 37 hours (Weekend shifts are 08:00-16:0 or 10:30 hours. Latest finishing at 18:30 hours.

We are looking for a new member of the team to join our department as a Force Communications Operator. You will deliver a customer-focused service, dealing effectively with all contacts, including 999 calls to the communications suite. You will be required to record information, provide advice and resolve issues by telephone.

Hours: 37 hours on a shift basis (currently 6 days on and 4 off)

Salary: £17,943- £24,030 (plus 20% shift allowance and weekend enhancement)

As an example, if the full 24/7 shift pattern is worked, you could earn approximately £23,800 rising to approximately £31,800.
